China and the United States are the first and second largest markets for new wind power. Together, they account for two-thirds of the world's new wind capacity additions in 2021. With 3.6GW of new onshore and near-shore wind farms commissioned last year, Vietnam has joined the world's top three wind markets for the first time, BNEF said.
