The EU will hold an emergency conference on September 9 to discuss about energy crisis response plans

The Czech Republic, the EU's rotating presidency, convened a special conference of energy ministers to discuss about a holistic solution to the region's price soaring electricity market. Czech Industry and Trade Minister Jozef Sikela said the conference will be held in Brussels on September 9 and will discuss about concrete measures to address the energy crisis. The energy market has almost come to a standstill and we have to fix it. Czech officials have proposed capping the price of natural gas for power generation.
